Taylor Pruett, CMT #93505
Taylor grew up in the Sierra Foothills, and just recently moved back from Humboldt County. Introduced to the world of aches and pains early, multiple bone breaks and growing pains taught her that the body speaks to us, sometimes loudly. Luckily, Taylor had an Occupational Therapist as a mother, who consistently tended to these ailments and instilled a sense of appreciation towards bodywork from a young age.
Taylor finds her most organic self in nature, in reading, and in communication. She has spent years refining these gifts, highlighted by her earning of a Bachelors Degree in Communications at Humboldt State University. After achieving her degree, the step that resonated most was immersing herself in massage therapy and studying bodywork.
Now, her primary goal is to create a safe and warm space of healing, to teach clients the art of breathing through it and into it, and to open the communication channel between mind and body, allowing them to live in harmony.
Taylor believes in intuitive massage, and uses various modalities including but not limited to Lomi Lomi, Deep Tissue, Cupping, Myofascial Release, Lymph, and Acupressure to curate a massage that resonates with each person individually.
